This game is simply lovely. This sort of vignette-style storytelling is something I very much have a sweet spot for, and it is surprisingly adaptable to many different settings and flavors. The minigames are varied, fun, and impactful in a variety of ways, and the progression is simple but satisfying. I could easily see pairing some of these minigames with similarly pastoral games like Wanderhome.
If anyone is interested, I made a character sheet on Excel that anyone can make a copy of and use in their own games. I'll likely make a Wagon sheet at some point as well, but thought this was a good starting point. Let me know if I missed anything or if you'd like anything changed!
My group has been playing Wagon Wheel for the past couple of months, and it's a wonderful game. We just sit down each week and have the next chapter of a rebuilding epos, full of strife and hope and desperation. It's beautiful. Thank you so much for this game!
Oh my gosh! It's so lovely to hear that you're having a nice time! My linktree is here and you can contact me on any of the socials listed there, but one of the instagram accounts might be best.
This is a BRILLIANTLY written game, it's so easy to build a vast and wonderful and strange world with vibrant and amazing characters. It can be funny, sad, heartwarming, casual, intense, and it's amazing!
Fantastic game about building and helping communities! The split character creation means you'll have plenty of options to create a character with an unique role in an unique world
Wagon Wheel is an absolutely wonderful game full of whimsy and fun and heartfelt moments! i love the Setting table because it has led to every game i've played being completely unique--and the whole concept of the game is beautiful. a story of restoration and healing and community, which will is something we all need right now.

this is an excellent game about community, travel, hope, and oh yeah, some wagon wheels. it rules. well-designed, deeply creative, and full of heart.
